Hello everyone !
New to the world of crypto-currencies, but with a background in web development, I realised at the launch of the Maiar Exchange that there was a lack of a tool to track and compare tokens in the Elrond ecosystem.
I first put a very simplified version of the MEX graph online, updated every minute, and then added other tokens to this graph. My small shared server could not keep up with the number of users crossing, so I decided to develop a much more complete version of this application, which became Erebor.
Erebor is a free web application, made voluntarily, and without commercial purpose.
On the dashboard of the homepage, it appears :
- The price of the tokens currently on the Maiar Exchange ($EGLD, $MEX, $RIDE) updated every ten seconds (no need to update the page, it's done by itself), this list will be updated according to the new tokens listed on the DEX in the future.
- A breakdown of the global market cap of the DEX according to each token. I personally find this interesting, as I didn't realise that the market cap of the $RIDE was roughly equivalent to that of the $MEX.
- An overview of the $MEX economy, with the number in circulation, the number remaining to be distributed, and the number of $MEX burned. Regarding the number of burned $MEX, I am basing this on the information available from the Maiar Exchange GraphQl. It would seem that this number should be revised slightly upwards, as the data returned by this API does not take into account some of these burnt $MEX.
- A small advertising block to find a source of revenue to finance maintenance and development of new features. This block will display, in a non-intrusive way, advertisements of projects related to the Elrond ecosystem. Moreover, if you wish to display your project (NFT, Dapp, twitter account...), do not hesitate to tell me about it.
- A graph allowing you to compare the different tokens of the Maiar Exchange, but also other tokens from Binance. This allows, for example, to see the correlation of BTC with the EGLD, or to observe the price arbitrage between the Maiar EGLD and the Binance EGLD. Note that the default time interval is 5 minutes, but it is possible to vary it from one minute to one day.
In the Chart section, it is possible to display a detailed chart for all the Maiar tokens, as well as some Binance tokens.
On the Micro Chart page, it is possible to follow the price of the tokens currently listed on the Maiar Exchange in real time (one second intervals). It is also possible to configure an audible alert that is activated if the price of one of the tokens deviates from the defined prices.
For example, when the $RIDE was launched, it would have been very useful to be alerted as soon as the swap was activated... or to have the price of the $RIDE in real time at the second!
Soon, a Tokenomics section will be available, which will allow to gather detailed information for each token. (Distribution schedule, number in circulation, number stacked...)
There is also a small list of links to official Elrond pages, general resources and useful resources for developers.
I hope you'll like this application, and don't hesitate to send me your impressions and feedbacks in case of malfunction.
