Origin
These little ghosts in the form of the Maiar logo, known as Maiar Ghosts, were initially meant to be gifts for users of the Elrond World Discord server and to celebrate the launch of the NFT Maiar marketplace.

Evolution
Due to the marketplace's unsuccessful launch, the emergence of exceptional projects, the 400 giveaways that were planned, and our own growing understanding of NFT creation, we finally made the decision to recruit a talented and reputable artist to create a stunning collection for our community and network. https://www.instagram.com/louislanne/ 

Immortality
We have created something immortal, fueled by our enthusiasm for creativity, our commitment to a community that supports a network we believe in, and the support of renowned and trustworthy projects.

Even the rebranding of the Maiar application couldn't eradicate the ghost-shaped M. They have become, through their metamorphosis properties, the MxGhosts.

After several months of training, design and work, exclusively for the NFT collection, as we wanted to make a real digital artwork that would be the heart of our project, Mr Ghost was born in April 2022.

Launching a project in the middle of one of the worst bear markets known, without a marketing budget, was not a challenge, but the best time to see ghosts born and prove their immortality.

They will continue to haunt the MultiversX ad vitam aeternam  

Economy
The project is backed by Gokai Labs, a Thai web design company. Gokai Labs is dedicated to keeping the project alive, producing useful content, and contributing a percentage of its profits to the GhostVerse DAO.

Gokai Labs is also a complete member with no additional privileges over other members.

For almost a year now, we have been able to set up reward systems and a passive income in EGLD. Thanks to the initial funds and revenue generated by Gokai Labs, the revenue from our NFT holding is more profitable than staking EGLD  

Members of the organization are all independent, and no one is paid by the project, except through passive income, Gokai Labs included. 

100% of the funds raised as well as royalties are added to staking for the passive income

Next move
The following goals are simple: complete project decentralization utilizing Peerme for governance, xSafe for multisig, and certainly xFabric for our dApp.

Launching a validation node would be the ultimate goal since it would enable us to continue securing the MultiversX network and providing lifetime benefits for our members.
